Garbly is a voice changer and soundboard. It has no account, no backend server, no analytics and no advertising, and the app makes no network connections of its own.
Nothing. Your recordings, imported audio and soundboard clips are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
Garbly asks for microphone access only when you tap Record. The microphone is used only while a recording is in progress, to capture audio that you then change with an effect. Audio is processed on your device. You can turn the permission off at any time in iOS Settings; you can still import audio files without it.
When you import a file, Garbly reads only the file you choose. When you share audio or a video, Garbly uses the standard iOS share sheet. The app does not receive information about where it was sent. Once you share a file, the app or service you send it to handles it under its own policy.
Delete a clip in the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page.
