Notedeck turns your notes into flashcards and quiz questions. It has no account, no backend server, no analytics and no advertising, and it makes no network connections.
Nothing. Your decks, cards, review history and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
When you paste text, import a PDF, or photograph or scan notes, the text is read on your device (PDFKit and Apple's Vision framework) and turned into cards by Apple's on-device Foundation Models, part of Apple Intelligence. Your notes are not sent to us or to any third party by Notedeck. AI-generated cards can contain mistakes; check them against your notes.
The camera is used only when you choose Scan notes, and photos only when you pick them, to recognise text on your device. Images are not saved or uploaded by Notedeck.
If you turn on the daily reminder and allow notifications, Notedeck schedules a local reminder on your device at the time you choose. No push server is involved.
The flag button hides a card on your device. Nothing is sent unless you choose to email a report, in which case your email app opens with the card text for you to review and send.
Delete cards or decks inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page.
