Pulse Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Pulse lets two paired devices share a status emoji, a short text update, and a daily streak. There's no Pulse account and no company server — the whole sync layer is Apple's CloudKit.

What we collect

Nothing on our end. Your status emoji, text, timestamp, and streak count are stored in Apple's CloudKit, associated only with the random pairing code your device generates or joins. Pulse never collects your name, email address, or location.

Who can see your status

Only whoever holds the pairing code — treat it like you would a shared house key. Pulse has no accounts and no third role; nothing is posted anywhere public or searchable outside of that code.

Purchases

Pulse Pro purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Pulse never sees your payment details.

Data deletion

Unpairing removes the pairing code from your device. To have your status data removed from CloudKit entirely, email us with your pairing code (or just ask — we're happy to walk through it).

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page.
