Rungly adapts reading material for different learners. It has no account, no backend server, no analytics and no advertising, and it makes no network connections.
Nothing. The texts you add, the adapted versions and your settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
When you paste text, import a PDF or text file, or photograph or scan a page, the text is read on your device (PDFKit and Apple's Vision framework) and rewritten by Apple's on-device Foundation Models, part of Apple Intelligence. Your text is not sent to us or to any third party by Rungly. Please do not enter student names or personal details; Rungly does not ask for them and does not store them separately. AI-written versions can contain mistakes and are drafts for the teacher to review.
The camera is used only when you choose Scan, and photos only when you pick them, to recognise text on your device. Images are not saved or uploaded by Rungly.
The flag button marks a version as reported on your device. Nothing is sent unless you choose to email a report, in which case your email app opens with the reason and note for you to review and send. The email does not include your text.
Delete a material inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page.
