Social Charge projects your "social battery" for the week ahead from your calendar and your own check-ins. There's no Social Charge account and no company server — everything is stored on your device.
Nothing on our end. Social Charge never transmits data anywhere — there is no backend, no analytics, and no third-party SDK in the app.
With your permission, Social Charge reads your device calendar (via Apple's EventKit) to build the weekly battery projection and to insert suggested recovery blocks you tap to add. Calendar data is read and used entirely on-device and is never uploaded anywhere.
The drained/neutral/energized check-ins you log, along with the event details they're tied to (title, time, attendee count), are stored locally in the app's on-device database. This is what the pattern-insight and projection features learn from.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Social Charge reads your sleep data (via HealthKit) to sharpen the overnight recovery estimate. This data is read on-device only, is never stored outside HealthKit, and is never transmitted anywhere. Health access is optional — the app works fully without it.
Social Charge schedules local notifications after your calendar events end, prompting a check-in. These are generated and delivered entirely on-device.
Social Charge Premium purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Social Charge never sees your payment details.
Deleting the app deletes all of its local data, including check-in history. Revoke calendar or Health access anytime in your device's Settings.
