How does it work?

Tap Make a coloring page and choose a photo. Pencilly draws the outlines right away. Use Detail, Line thickness and Cleanup to adjust, then Save, Print or Share.

How do I print?

Choose US Letter or A4, then tap Print and pick your printer (AirPrint). To print later or from a computer, tap Share and choose PDF. Pages print with a margin and a small footer line in the bottom margin, never over the picture.

My page is covered in tiny lines

Busy photos, text and patterns make lots of lines. Lower Detail, raise Cleanup, or turn on Remove background to keep only the main subject.

My page is nearly empty

Low-contrast photos (foggy, dark, or one flat colour) have few edges. Raise Detail, or try a photo with stronger light and shadow.

"No clear main subject was found"

Remove background needs a photo where the subject stands out. It also needs a recent iPhone. Your page keeps its background if it can't find one.

Where are my pages stored?

Only on your device. Pencilly has no account and no server, so deleting the app deletes your pages.
