Questions, troubleshooting, and how to reach us.
Your vault's encryption key lives only in that device's Keychain. If you set up an executor before losing the device, they can request emergency access and, after the waiting period, recover an encrypted backup. Without that setup, the vault can't be recovered — that's the trade-off of us never being able to read it either.
When your executor requests access, a countdown starts. You can deny the request from your own device at any point before it ends. If you don't respond, access is automatically approved once the waiting period passes — that's what makes the feature useful if something happens to you.
Yes — remove them anytime from the Executor tab's "People I've Invited" list. This doesn't undo anything they already decrypted, so only revoke someone you no longer trust, and treat the relationship itself as the real safeguard.
Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Your Vault, Letters, and Checklist content stays on your device either way — only Pro access to those tabs changes. See the full Terms of Use for billing details.
Executor tab → Account → Delete Account. This is separate from deleting the app — it removes your emergency-access data from our servers.
Email us with your device model and iOS version if it's a bug — that's usually all we need to reproduce it.
