Hold Dear is built to keep what you write private. This policy covers what data the app touches and where it goes.
Nothing. Hold Dear has no backend, no account system, no analytics, and makes no network calls (other than opening this page, or the App Store, in your browser). The name of the person you're keeping close, key dates, letters, and mood ratings are stored only in the app's local database on your device, using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Nothing, unless you export a keepsake PDF yourself and choose to share it, or back up your data yourself (for example, through iCloud device backup, which is controlled entirely by your iOS settings, not by Hold Dear).
Hold Dear does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or trackers. In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page.
